Treatments

1

Medication Management

After a thorough evaluation, medication management focuses on implementing a tailored plan to optimize the patient's treatment outcomes. This process involves reviewing the evaluation findings to adjust dosages, discontinue unnecessary medications, or introduce new therapies as needed. Patients are educated about any changes to their regimen, including the purpose of each medication

2

Ketamine (coming soon)

Ketamine has emerged as a groundbreaking treatment for various mental health conditions, particularly depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Unlike traditional antidepressants, which can take weeks to show effects, ketamine often provides rapid relief, sometimes within hours, making it a valuable option for treatment-resistant cases or acute crises, such as suicidal ideation.

3

Heartmath (coming soon)

HeartMath biofeedback is a scientifically validated technique designed to enhance emotional regulation and stress management by improving heart rate variability (HRV). Using specialized devices and software, HeartMath measures the patterns of a person’s heart rhythms in real time, providing feedback on their physiological state.

Disorders we treat

   Depression

Depression is a common but serious mental health condition that affects how a person feels, thinks, and acts. It goes beyond occasional sadness or "feeling down" and involves persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and a lack of interest or pleasure in activities once enjoyed.

        PTSD

PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) is a mental health condition that can develop after a person experiences or witnesses a traumatic event. Such events might involve actual or threatened death, serious injury, or sexual violence. PTSD affects how individuals process fear and stress, and its symptoms can significantly impact daily functioning.

         Anxiety

Anxiety is a natural response to stress or perceived danger, characterized by feelings of worry, nervousness, or fear. While occasional anxiety is normal and even helpful in some situations (like preparing for an important event), persistent or excessive anxiety that interferes with daily life may indicate an anxiety disorder

..

Bipolar Disorder

Bipolar Disorder is a mental health condition characterized by extreme mood swings that include emotional highs (mania or hypomania) and lows (depression). These shifts can affect energy levels, activity, and the ability to function in daily life.

         OCD

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) is a mental health condition characterized by unwanted, persistent thoughts (obsessions) and repetitive behaviors (compulsions) that an individual feels driven to perform. These symptoms can interfere significantly with daily life, causing distress and impacting functioning at home, work, or in relationships. These compulsions can be visual, but many individuals with OCD compulsion are silent/mental compulsions.  OCD is commonly misdiagnosed as Generalized Anxiety Disorder.

        ADHD

Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects a person’s ability to focus, control impulses, and manage hyperactive behaviors. It often begins in childhood and can persist into adolescence and adulthood, impacting daily life and functioning.
